PSANZ EOI: Policy & Endorsement Review Team

The PSANZ Policy & Endorsement Review Executive Committee is seeking nominations from PSANZ members who may be interested in assisting with the review of Policy & Endorsement submissions.

With the aim to strengthen PSANZ’s contribution to Australian and New Zealand national policies, practice standards and guidelines relating to maternal, family and neonatal care, the PSANZ Policy & Endorsement Review Team will be called upon to:

1. Review guidelines submitted to PSANZ for endorsement
2. Review policy changes submitted to PSANZ for implementation

The Subcommittee will respond to opportunities for consultation and where requested, will make recommendations to the PSANZ Board regarding endorsement.

The Policy & Endorsement Review Team are seeking wider representation of disciplines including Early Career Researchers, Lived Experience representation, First Nations and Māori representation to increase the level of scope through the consultation process.

The Executive Team are looking for:

 (1) additional Members for the Executive Committee. This would require participation in monthly meetings of the Executive Committee and regularly reviewing submissions relating to maternal, family and neonatal care.

(2) a wider pool of Members to form our Policy Advisory Panel that the Executive Committee can engage to assist with periodically reviewing submissions on specialised topics. Here we anticipate a small commitment of time from Members, and individuals can commit to reviewing submissions at their own discretion.
